  • June 2026 Puzzle: “Violent Delights”

Our June puzzle comes from Madison:

“These violent delights have violent ends, And in their triumph die, like fire and powder, Which, as they kiss, consume.” – William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet

  • May 2026 Mid-Month (Guest) Midi: “Endgames”

We’re absolutely thrilled to have our first guest midi this month, from Zachary Edward-Brown. His midi perfectly captures the spirit of Crossword Curiosities – a little morbid, a little niche. You can learn more about him on the “Featured Constructors” section of the “About Us” page. Zachary says:

Super excited to be here, many thanks to Maddie and Hannah! I’m a pretty big sports guy, so mixing the morbid vibes of the puzzle with sports felt like the way to go, and I was able to sneak several more sports references in the clues, which I’m quite happy about. Hope everyone enjoys 🙂

  • May 2026 Puzzle: “Field Study”

Happy spring! We’re switching it up this month with a physics-themed puzzle from Hannah. Stay tuned for our first guest midi later this month!

This puzzle leans into the “offbeat” side of Crossword Curiosities. I’m a particle physicist, and I thought it would be fun to combine my interests in crosswords and physics in this esoteric puzzle!
