Hannah Binney (she/her) is a crossword constructor living in Cambridge, MA. Hannah began constructing in 2020, and she has had puzzles appear in The New York Times, The Atlantic, Universal, AVCX, and Puzzmo. When not constructing crosswords, Hannah is a physicist working on measuring the mass of an extremely light particle called the neutrino. She has an orange cat named Julius.
Madison Shultz (she/her) learned to construct crosswords from Hannah Binney in 2025. She lives in Redmond, WA and spends a lot of time outdoors but has found crossword construction an excellent creative outlet and excuse to stay inside more with her two cats. She has had puzzles appear in Universal, Defector, Ariadne’s Crossword Library, and Climbing.com.

Outside of puzzles, Zachary loves playing soccer and basketball and rooting (often painfully) for the Chicago Bears.
Faren Roth is a PhD student in speech, language, and hearing sciences. In her free time, she loves playing soccer, hanging out with her cat Toast, trying new recipes, and (of course!) making crosswords. When he’s not puzzling, he can be found investigating spooky lighthouses with his pirate D&D group, The Castaways, or hanging with his family.
